Regular club day-ride diary

Postby AlexN » Mon Jul 28, 2008 4:59 pm

UPDATED 28.11.2008

In addition to the weekly meetings at Ashton Court each Sunday, the club will also be running organised rides at regular intervals throughout the year. We will stick to these dates unless the weather looks really bad in the days leading up.

The first Sunday of the month will be an away ride that will take at least half a day to complete. We will plan the venue for these at the club social immediately preceeding it. Details will go up on the forum the next day.

Regular weekly 10:30 local rides will continue as before.

Upcoming dates for the rest of 2008:
3rd August - Away ride decided at club meeting on 31st July
7th September - Away ride decided at club meeting on 27th August
5th October - Away ride decided at club meeting on 25th September
2nd November - Away ride decided at club meeting on 30th October
7th December - Away ride - Abercarn + Cwmcarn XC loop.
21st December - Local Christmas ride.

Hi,

Club rules say that you can ride with the club five times before you have to join as a full member and pay your subscription. Insurance reasons.

The Ashton Court local rides depart from the Golf Kiosk. Go in to AC through the gate house on the A369 and go along the tarmac drive. Turn right up the tarmac road through the golf course. The Kiosk is about 100m up behind the car park. We'll be hanging around the picnic tables drinking tea.

Maps for meeting places coming soon on the web.
