Excellent event, my first time riding in the area and very much enjoyed the course, and it was well organised.

Special mention to the marshals who were both numerous and friendly. The course was well marked out too I think - there was only one small section where I seemed to have done a little extra loop back on myself looking at my GPS trace :-)

Well done booking the sunshine too ;-)

I'll be back next year for sure, now I've done it once and know what to expect I can try and get round the course a little smoother.

I see someone's put a video up here:

Glad I avoided those queues at the start!

Seconded! That was an awesome route, even if I did bail on doing the full 75km.

I did need a GPS though, there were a few sketchy signs - think I was enjoying the singletrack before the quarry too much and missed the entrance & had to go back.

Highlights for me:

- Lots of bluebell lined singletrack
- The crystal maze style "how the hell to open the big gate" (that slowed me down a bit!)
- Tractor blocking the road pulls away to reveal a nice man with a free pint of cider (couldn't get more Glos. than that)

How was the after party, for those that camped?

Does anyone know of a good fair to have a stall in the south east with the run up to Christmas?
