16...that's me entered too.

Just went for the day entry, as it's not far and less faff to go for the day. Would be able to give 2 other folk a lift if needed.

Plan to do the 75km unless I ruin myself en-route somehow, SS or gears depends if they've come out of hibernation by then!

Well everything is nearly ready apart from the cider which still needs a couple of weeks to mature..!! ;-)
The routes are sorted and the 50km has over 3,000ft of climbing with the 75km with well over 5,000ft....can't say we didn't warn you.
Those of you camping at the event, did you want an area for BMBC so you can all be together or not bothered..?
Cheers
Steve

I'm not camping, as I don't think I can get myself organised in time (I'm away for work till the friday night).

So I can give up to 2 others a lift for the day.

Unrelated note: are there feed/water stations en-route? How often and what's there?

What I've getting at is "do I need to take a bag?". E.g. for the MTB marathons (formerly the meridas, now called something else) I would ride with just one bottle, and rely on being fast enough I'd get to the next feed station before I ran out of water.

Hi Neil, I spoke with Jon S and have arranged to put all you BMBC riders together so no problem on that front..!
With regards to food stops etc....we have two feed stations for the 50km and an extra one for the 75km routes and a water stop in the quarry section. If the weather is hot you will need more than a bottle to carry with some of the climbs and terrain being quite tough, would suggest a camel back or similar and energy bars etc as well.
This is not a race but an endurance event and it is advised that you are carrying all the kit you will need "if" you have a mechanical on the way round.
Some of the trails are remote and you can be miles away from help and marshals will not have spares or tools to help you so be prepared.

Look forward to seeing you next week.
Steve
