Pairs SS again - this time hopefully I won't do myself damage like last year!

Can't see 2013 details online anywhere, or am I being daft?

Anyhow, I really enjoyed this last time I rode it (in 2003 IIRC...), so plan to enter in some way, not sure what yet (gears, SS, team, solo...)

I've noticed the page/entries have actually gone up for this now:

http://www.bike-fest.com/bristol/about.php

Quite keen to do the 12 hour. Torn between the idea of a solo or as a fast* pair/trio. So if anyone's keen for a pair/trio (SS if there's a category and you want to, else I'll stick gears on) let me know.

*I know i've been slacking a bit of late, but like to feel I can be quick sometimes...

EDIT: just realised there're two (well more) events, a 6hr on the sunday too. Do folk do both? Hmmm.

EDIT: wait, it's solo, pairs or quads? Or I guess trios end up in quads results wise.

I kind of feel I should be doing this, but maybe on the SS. I didn't last year as I thought I'd spend all day trying not to get p1ssed off trying to overtake people.

Might need a 36-16 though :D

Do the facilities include a bar?

Got a stag party that weekend now so many do it :-(

@Paul. One of my team from Oktoberfest got very angry with the "sh*t bags" he was over taking (highly amusing for us). The constant sprinting to overtake after being slowed down is what does it! There is a bar open towards the end + anything you bring with you :-D

Paul - pair for the 12 hour SS? Then you only have to spend half your time raging at muppets?*

* which is half the fun of racing! If you're struggling to overtake, you're clearly not as much faster as you think...

Ok, Rich said he was up for a pair in the 12 hour, so I'll do that with him.

Rich - want to PM me whatever details of yours the entry form will require? Look at the paper one and then PM me, and i'll do the team entry online.
